Provision For Children with Special Educational Needs

At Croft Junior School, we have high expectations and strive for excellence in a caring, happy and safe environment where every child is valued. We believe that every child can succeed and our aim is to offer all children a rich, stimulating and engaging curriculum. We are an inclusive school and to enable our children with special educational needs to access the whole curriculum; we differentiate learning, provide additional adult support and resources to meet individual needs.

Mrs Farmer, our special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) oversees the provision for children who require additional support across the school. She works closely with staff to support and meet the changing needs of our learners. We believe that quality first teaching is essential to accelerate progress of all our learners and additional support can be accessed when required, to further support identified individual needs. In consultation with Mrs Farmer, class teachers follow the process of: assess, plan, do and review to ensure that every child makes progress.

You can contact Mrs Farmer by telephone: 02476 387319 or via email: admin2601@welearn365.com.
